History of National Herald Newspaper
Dispatched in 1938 as a day by day paper in the vanguard of the Indian Freedom Movement by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the National Herald gladly broadcasted its responsibility on its masthead recorded in Pandit Nehru's hand: Freedom is in risk, Defend it energetically. The paper shared the vision of its organizer and the best upsides of the Freedom Movement – that of building a cutting edge, vote based, just, fair, liberal and socially agreeable country, liberated from partisan conflict. During its halcyon days even in a long time after freedom, the National Herald gathering of papers, incorporating likewise Navjivan in Hindi and QAUMI AWAZ in Urdu, loaned its powerful voice to the endeavors of building such a country taking a stab at world harmony and pervaded with reasonableness and logical temper that its organizer had taught
